Check the Access Method column to make sure your access method is correct, then try the given default username and password. For the defaults to work in your Moodle device or software, you may need to reset the device or reinstall the software, either of which could cause data loss, so be sure to have backups before you proceed! It's a best practice to have a regular backup schedule in place before disaster strikes!

Moodle Moodle LMS 1.x web admin admin Site Administrator There are some reports that very early versions of Moodle had these defaults available during installation only and that the admin would be required to supply a new password during the install. The operators of open-sez.me are also Moodle experts and can confirm that there is no such thing in any version of Moodle running today as a default admin password. Can you imagine what a dishonest or malicious student could do with a commonly available default admin password in their school's LMS?
